Here’s our look at the CNET review of the Logitech Keyboard Case by Zagg:
CNET gives the Logitech Keyboard Case by Zagg for the Apple iPad 2 a rating of 4 Stars out of 5, an “Excellent”. The reviewer (Scott Stein) questions whether a good keyboard case could be the missing link that would make an ultraportable tablet like the iPad an excellent tool for writing on the go and states that the Logitech Keyboard Case by Zagg is the best he has seen so far. CNET observes that the keyboard is a real “honest-to-goodness” keyboard and notes that the keys depress fully and feel physical with no flattened or rubberized feel to them. The reviewer states that typing is a “breeze” compared with typing on the screen using the iPad 2 virtual keyboard. But he also notes that the small keys and the inset keyboard aren’t as comfortable as a full fledged bluetooth keyboard like the one from Apple. However, on the plus side, the reviewer was quickly able to type long paragraphs at a speed that would be difficult to achieve with the onscreen virtual keyboard.
CNET thinks the Logitech Keyboard Case works better as a keyboard than as a case. The iPad 2 nestles into the frame of the case with the screen protected, but the case provides no protection for the back of the iPad 2. He also notes that when the iPad is seated in the case, it is a bit hard to remove for casual use. See the video for more details. They sum it up by stating that “The Logitech Keyboard Case for the iPad 2 does exactly what it promises, offering a highly portable Bluetooth keyboard for use with an iPad; however, it’s a better keyboard than it is a case”. We agree with CNET and think this Logitech Keyboard Case by Zagg is a great accessory for your iPad 2.
